Not the first time a club members vehicle has been in the Thames as a Reo got fully submerged at chicwick in the late 90's but thats another story.

A couple days later we went down again at high tide and my dad tried without a winch n got swept off a little bit n my mum had to wade in to attach the winch.

My mum told me that only one of the jets worked and i think thats why it would'nt steer.

There brilliant off road if you were thinking of using one like that.

He drove it down from basingstoke because it was the amphib thing on the thames that year and he wanted to see if it worked. it floated but because it only had one jet it would'nt really go anywhere thats why it was winched into the water off a land rover.Im also trying to find pics of a friends red stalwart when he swam it to the isle of wight.Also the trip is on vhs n we hope to get it put on a dvd so hopefully post it on here soon.

lol whatever you say dude.There's been a london to brighton LR run for years now but dunno if it's on this year. The one we did we had to borrow a friends 101's wheels and tyres.It's quite handy having another 101 on the same estate. Thanks for all the welcomes guys.
