It's quite sad seeing those vehicles in that state as some of them were very rare and must have had a lot of stories to tell. Oh and i was gonna ay martian artillary body aswell.

I know there was one fitted with a crane behind the cab but not heard of one with crane at the rear, But i'll check the logistics book anyway to look.

Yes it is a beauty. Had the pleasure of riding in it a few years ago. John sold it to a guy called Ian and he is in twickenham off roaders to so it stayd in the club. Now John has got a mk3 wrecker. Its got a bit more greener since i last saw it at beltring last year.

Some people brought a couple of drop trucks to the Scammell Rally at the hop farm in 2001 and they were drifting the foden round the camp area.

That prototype is owned by a guy called Clive and he's in Twickenham off roaders as well as the other 3 trucks.

It's a small 4x4 truck. I think it said in bart vanderveens book that it was a forward control vehicle. Also petrol versions are LO and diesel is LD. Might be up in the area this weekend visiting grandparents so might try n get some pics.

Was wondering if anyone knows more about this type of truck because there is an example of this truck at a garden centre/family farm place near Nuneaton. And figured it was pretty rare in the UK.

Yea were members of twickenham off roaders. We organize the americas field n marshall the off road course as well as the heavy vehicle trials. We'll definatly be at beltring this year.

I think there was one of those trucks on milweb a couple of months back. Oh if u do decide to go round the off road course let me know n i'll get my camera out as im in the the club that runs the off road course. Btw that truc is awesome
