Is there a MOT for Track/armour Vehicles we have one for trucks and cars :?: . I know that alot of military vehicles are exempt from MOT testing due to age but alot of owners have them tested for safety reasons and a offiical persons opinion of the condtion of the vehicle. If you use your track/armour vehicle on the road what checks do you need to do consdering some track vehicles can reach speeds of 50 mph on roads :?: If there is no MOT requierment do you get a seconed opinion on the condtion of your armour :?:

Hand guns were baned in 1998 in the uk you need to have a Firearms class 1 licence you can have a long barrled revolver 12" barrel ! If you have good resaon to use one target shooting is a reason the only semi-auto rifle you can have is a .22 r/f for target shooting or hunting vermin all magzine fed/single shot, rifles,carbines you can have if your local police areas accept your reason to have one this changes between police areas. Reguarding deacts if you are bring them into the uk check with the customs/home office to see that that compile with the uk standard for deacts The Birmingham/london proof houses controls theses it may be worth checking with these !. I myself have items that I use for competion shooting in the uk and travel to germany to shoot items that we cannot use in the uk Pistols! I am off shortly to shoot M1 carbine and pistols in competions in germany I am a member of a club in germany and have good freinds who let me use there pistols ect I hope this answers some of your question.

Very simler lines to john history,engineering the question why did they do that :?: and working it out ,The development from ww1 to present day MVs the dingo has richard already said is a good example 40s design still in use in 90s. Post- war mvs intrests me being ex-army and served in some of them. Being involed in bring them back to life its good therpy in it's self

It did look that there were some traders missing did anyone see the war & peace stand or did in miss it !!!!! It may have been to cold for them. It was good to see so many faces I new I think I got involed in 2 or 3 club meetings or was the group hugs to keep warm !!!!!

John is right but is it only the mk2 that you can run mix fuel as the mk1 was petrol only is this correct. :?:

I was a pistol shooter untill the ban in 1998 :cry: I then swaped to lever action rifle shooting. A few years ago we meet up with some shooters from germany and we were invited to get involed with shooting in germany. We were able to join the club and have the use of there firearms some of which have been band in the uk for some time and great to shoot pistols ,M1 carbine ect we have all the right official papers to allows us to shoot over here and in germany within the laws of each country its great fun and we enter there competions and often win something considering we cannot shoot theses types of firearms in the uk we do very well

Iv just returned from shooting M1 carbine in competion in germany The german open M1 1500. We did well a few 1sts and 3rds my self a 5th a exelent weekend :wink: this is the second time i have been to germany this year to shoot in a competition and bought prizes back shooting items that are baned in the uk , before you ask I have a licence that allows me to shoot over there and some good friends that arange them to be on the ranges for us

:?: What licence will you need to drive recovery trucks or are thay classed has cranes? Normal car licence if before 1960? what about after 1960 and will you be able to tow a trailer with it ? Were is the best place to get information on the law reguarding licences and vehicles you can drive on the licence you hold ? DLVC,local plod ect. :?

Im new to this so i will say sorry now if i make any mistakes. I live in kiddermister UK and have been intrested in MV s for some time I do not owen one yet (saving my £s) but very intrested. Im a member of the MVT and visit most of the shows around the midlands area. My secound hobbie is target shooting and travel to germany to shoot what we cannot shoot here 2 or 3 times a year off at the end of the month to shoot M1 Carbine in a competition Any way looking forward to any advice and tips on MVs you may have good or bad.
