  1. Trying to find info on this appliance is nearly as rare as rocking horse poop. Thanks T.Corbin for the valuable info you have given, i have nearly finished building the models but am stuck on how the pump actually worked ( curiosity ) and how the pumping control panel looks. im more than interested in how the pump worked. I would love a copy of the 1945 operations manual as well as any pics you may have. Cheers and thankyou for your support.
  2. Royal Australian Navy woolen firefighting body suit with anti-flash, now replaced with the bristol suit. Photo taken on HMAS Tobruk 2001 during flight op's in the HCO.We wore this wool suit, overalls underneath, anti-flash, occaba and helmet. Great way to lose wieght in the tropics. :nut:
  3. Sorry here is the photo's of the unit in question... just info on the fire fighting unit on the back.
  4. Hi any info on the ww2 RAF Crash tender appliance on the back of the Fordson Wot.1 and Austin K.6 would greatly be appreciated. Also any close up pics of the unit would be fantastic too. Cheers
  5. Hi, a pic i took while we were landing troops at East Timor. Whilst the Indonesians where pulling out. looks American ww2 vintage........they had everything on there from troops to monkeys and chooks. from what we could see from the outside, god knows what was inside.
