Yikes, I hope my spotters eyes are not failing me. I went up to Kawakawa on Friday, althought it was getting dark going but came back Saturday afternoon and didn't spot the QL. So much for keeping my eyes skinned! Thanks for info Charlie and the welcome from others. I did find a very early Thorneycroft, (I think) in the South Island, chassis only. I have tried to put the pics up but no success, am I missing something? I have around 6 images, is that too much? I might try 1 and see whats happens. Regards to all, Danny

Hello to all from Auckland, New Zealand, I found this forum whilst googling vintage truck restoration and have been fascinated by the threads. I have restored a few Citroen cars over the years and am part through my 57 DS19. I have been heavily involved in heavy vehicles, buses & coaches, for many years. With more free time now I am thinking of a commercial restoration, preferably a vintage truck. I am hoping (all fingers crossed) to find an AEC, my favourite chassis. If Santa reads this then a Y Type would be top of my wish list. I'll be keeping my eyes skinned on my travels. Regards to all, Danny Robins.
