Welcome mate

Fascinating thread .....I've seen the picture of an orange Sherman ploughing a few years ago but...apart from that one.... did any of these others survive maybe ?....or are they still perhaps lingering in a forgotten corner of a far flung plant yard somewhere ? ...
The orange one here?

Cheers Rick,
Would it be to much to ask for some rough dimensions of one of the coolers(if there both the same size) while your there.
I might have located one and would like to be sure before a deal is done.
Regards Luke

Anyone got a photo or can post a link to a photo of a oil cooler out of a Churchill tank.

General Lee, I will try and dig out the photos and start a thread on the Sherman's restoration, but please note it is not in the same league as Adrian Barrels Sherman restoration.
Cheers Jim,
I look forward to your thread.

I bought the Sherman in 1999 for £4000 as a wreck, many people including some on this forum turned their noses up at it and walked away from it. In total it owes me less than some of you have paid for your everyday transport.
It was rebuilt on a small budget but with many hours of hard labour, not just mine but with the help of Martin Hammond, Paul my nephew and others.
Any photos of the restoration Jim?

Hi Guys
I collect Lots of Stuff....
Awesome collection Matt!

Those LP wheels came from two bogies that a friend gave me, I only needed some bogie parts and the wheels were not one of them so they will just go up a corner in the farm. They only came from Australia within the last two years, they were included in a load of scrap that was inside the hull of a British carrier that was reimported for restoration.
Cheers Alastair
