Its time for a new post for this year show to try and get you all over to the Fens again in your green machines :-D. Camping's available from Friday afternoon BUT as the show is forever growing camping is pre book only, just so we can manage how many we have and dont run out of space etc. As with previous years the beer fest is on again along with live music playing late into Saturday night and the prize giving on Sunday too, this year with a celebrity judge too. If its any easier/cheaper at 12v one will be fine, it'll spin over faster but soon start up, had a 12v starter on my FFR since before I brought it 15 years ago :-)

Another milestone today :-D finally got power going to the C13 and C42 sets in the back of the wagon and had them powered up and making white noise at least :-D

Nearly there now thanks too MHillyard at the weekend :-D New Lt box and cables fitted and also 2 (gun control) speakers to wire up to the sets as well :-)

Not anymore, I was lucky enough to get it the other week :-D which was lucky as it was very useful for helping me identify how to fit and connect up the new radio set :-) but still unsure if I need to take power from the vehicle to an LT box and then from there to the LT boxes on each set or if I can just connect both set's LT boxes up straight to the vehicle power???

Saw this on Ebay recently, wasn't too far away from me and won :-D working C13 HF set with a C1 tuner, now just need good weather to get it fitted in the FFR :-)

I take it the DUKW has some advantages over a Stalwart to of been kept on for so long instead of using Stalwarts?

Seems good so far, quick tune up with a mate this evening and more then happy with it :-)

Took the FFR up to Leafers's at T'pit the other week, and and all was well until the drive home and seemed like the head gasket had failed :-( Once home and got the head off discovered the head and block had extreme damage :-( and with Goodwood a week away and a shout out on Facebook a new block and head were found and a ninja squad assembled to remove the old engine and build and fit the new one this weekend :-)

Fixed a leak from the oil temp sender today, and another thats been hidden under the 40 amp generator for longer then I'v owned it (14 years now) found a loose bolt on the oil filler and hair line cracks along the plate too near the welds for the generator bracket so cleaned up, welded over and refitted with no more leaks (touch wood)

No prob dude :-) down in Suffolk at the mo but will check again in the week what I have/need etc :-)

I am mate but struggling to find a way to pick it up at the mo, so if someone else comes along with the money feel free to pass it on rather then wait for me though mate cheers :-)
