  1. all the letters are to Bill Price ( Price W No.1822211) from W/191122 (Rene Price)

     

    also I never read any of the letters did not feel right.

  2. Some time back I found this ww2 army pay book in a dustbin, has letters and photos from this mans home.

    even national insurance stamps,

    would be nice to find a home for this book, I dont wont to sell it that would feel bad, just find a good home.

  3. 51 SQN and vehicle D2 was at RAF Catterick in the 80,s

     

    cant tell you the vehicle its off though

    did hope its from an RAF 127 like the one I have, still need to find my ones unit from 1990s

  4. They did keep saying the only Lancaster in the uk flying..are there others outside the uk in the air ?

    in the 1970s I was just 7 but remember the low fly they did with the Lancaster at raf biggin hill , it was so low you

    could smell her. this was befor HS put a stop to real air shows:cry:

  5. sounds like you had some fun with the 127, not had my one on the road, :(

     

    I dont have part numbers only photo. what ever you can find will be a help.

  6. Thank you for the reply, had seen your page befor, are they drum or disc brake ?

    the one I hope to get has the full kit inside but not shore if its all working.

    can you tell me if this unit had an ATU or did it use w/b ant,

     

    would like to see some photos of the inservice set up

  7. I am about to get this NCRS Communications Cabin, they are about 1.8 ton Overall Length: 13ft 6 inches

    came in to service in 1995, this was operated by Signal Regiment.

    (NCRS is an adaptive high frequency radio system, consisting of a pair of HF radios controlled by a microprocessor. System)

     

    what I need to know is did they use landrovers 110/101 to pull them or MK trucks ?

  8. Just returned from seeing this. Unfortunately, we were lucky enough to see the stage version first. This film reminded me of "Babe" for quite a while........have enjoyed other Spielberg films but this one didn't do it for me apart from towards the end in the "Somme" bit. I shall add that I have had horses most of my life so im not hard faced!

     

    But go and see what you make of it,perhaps I'm picky...........

     

    did feel the same but then had time to think...its not a war film... its about True friendship
