now I have two rover 8 ffr 40 amps to sort out. this new one has the this info on the id plate:
54 DM 51
TRUCK FFR 1/4 TON 4X4 ROVER 8
CONT Nn. WV/34
CHASSIS Nn. 24106362 A
COVERED BY CES NO. 35384/2

I have storage room inside for 2 landrover size MV and outside storage for one HGV size MV at £10 a week each
also use of work shop.

but what was this round use for ? with a flat end the round would not fly true

thank you for this info. so this could be a 4.5inch gun round.
now need to find out what type, they have more like this at the scrap yard, have asked them not to cut them up for now

maybe a good start to find the clansman radio hand book for your scorpion. this should tell you what parts you need and how to fit the radios. Vintage MV Manuals on ebay may have one

What does the V5 have listed under revenue weight (not under taxation class)?
there is no info next to this on the v5

sorry but this is not an in service photo of 02DA45, its a 35mm b&w I did when I had this ferret.
the photo was taken in my yard in Herefordshire around 1998, I do still have the photo.

look on the brite side, all this rain should put the price of amphibious MV up

just a tip but dont use products with silicone in them, they may look good, but if you ever repaint over silicone
it will part the paint, makes a hell of a mess, also very hard to get off.
