  1. Cheers for the heads up bud. I'll make sure me and the missus have the waterproofs at the ready. One thing I will say is thank god for waterproof socks - makes even the most creaky (yet comfortable) pair of boots waterproof! Cheers again, Tom
  2. Thanks for the warm welcome guys - much appreciated Cheers all, Tom
  3. Likewise mate. My fiancee and I will be down there from the Sunday morning/early afternoon. We're gonna the first of our little group (2x Landies and 2x Motorbikes plus tents etc) to arrive so we've been tasked with finding a spot that we can squeeze into! See you all down there folks. Cheers, Tom
  4. Hi there guys, My name is Tom, 26, and I'm currently based on the River Thames the Hampton Court/Kingston-Upon-Thames area. I currently drive a very 'well loved' and aging Series 3 Lightweight. My main passion military is the history of the Vietnam war and as a result I'm a part-time Vietnam re-enactor and airsofter when I'm not working. I have great plans of one day selling the Lightweight once I get myself a MUTT, but everytime I think I want to sell her, I just can't bring myself to do it! Oh well, looks like I have to keep it British when I'm 'on the road' and yank when I'm in the field I've been heading down to War and Peace both with and without the Landy for the past 6 or 7 years. I normally head down with a good mate of mine who takes his Land Rover Ambulance. Each year we've been staying for longer and longer and this year will mark the longest I've stayed on site. Myself and my fiancee, Joe, will be down there from Sunday 17th to Monday 25th. Hope to meet some of you once we've settled in. Cheers all! Have a good one, and all the best, Tom
