  1.

    u can name them if u want:-D

Hi this is the company that I used and the lady is very helpfull here name is Kate Yates, and the company is Backford Bloor & M R Bloor and Co Ltd kitcar insurance tel 0151 3567451 cheers bill

  2. Well it is insured for the road now as a 2.5D LDV special purpose body at £163.16 full com I was told that this was the first type of Vehicle that they have had on their books has they have ad thousands of kit cars but no military type Vehicle as I see it if they can offer me such low insurance for my vehicle what can they do for an ex-military vehicle if you want the name and number of the firm just post me. Unless I am aloud to put it on here. Cheers bill :cool2:

  3. Strange, I don't think any of the Ex-Military Vehicle Insurers would class it as that. I would get it in writing from them that they understand that it was never a Military Vehicle at anytime..

Last year I got a quote from Adrian fulx and they class it as a military vehicle after explaining insome detail about the vehicle for £462.99.

This is the you tube vid that the company used for the £163.16

and I think that it is self-explanatory as to what it was.

By the way it is for full com/ agreed value/and 4500 miles. Cheers Bill

  4. Back in 1975 - 77 I was a tyre fitter with a national tyre company and we had two kinds of cages one was a star shape and the other was a steel cage the star one had a post welded to a base plate which you put the tyre over and then you put the star on top held in place with a locking pin you cud then go round the tyre taping the locking ring with a long handle sledge hammer to set it but keep in your distance this to me was the best way to make sure that the ring was in place before fully inflating it.

Ps I fitted plant and truck tyres on site has well as carscheers Bill
