  1. Since Quads were only fitted with one brake light and one tail light, and in different locations it gives me a little bit of artistic license when bring it up to modern safety standards.

I took an idea from some ww2 pictures and adapted it with period lights. One side will have the number plate on and the other will be a unit flash.

    Tell me what you think?

  2. Hi Ross , Lovely to see her progressing so nicely , Could I ask where you got the window channel from please ?

    Best wishes Andy:-D

Thanks Andy. Most of the parts I had, cant get the rail that the window slides on though. Might have to get that made unless I can find someone with one for a door. Hope this helps.

  3. Here is two pictures of the one in primer fitted, to the back of a Cab 12 CGT ;)

if that sparks any memories :cool2:

Nice one, I was trying to credit you for the pictures but do you think I could find your name! lol :rotfl:

My one worked out a bit longer than yours.

  4. Ah, so that also answers my other question of how the spare wheel was held on. So if I have got it right there is long bolt, that can fold down, and the wheel retaining plate fits in those clips when the spare wheel is not in place? Presumably there is enough room to tweak the wing nut tight to stop the retaining plate from jumping out of the clips when driving without the spare wheel in place.

When we see the work you are doing it is hard to appreciate how much research you are doing in the background! :)

An unbelievable amount of research, pictures, drawings and dimensions. In some cases you just have to try it and see. :nut:
