I might sell my D4 Andy, fitted with LaPlante Choate angle dozer. Runs and drives fine, restored some years ago. 

It's for Cromwell and Comet tank.

Given your previous critical review of the earlier series, why did you bother to watch it this time?

The original intention was point first as that way, the tread self cleans of mud better. However, they wear much less if fitted open end first and it was argued that if you looked like getting stuck, you would tend to reverse out and find a better route so self cleaning in reverse would be more useful! There was some period discussion on the net in the last few days, can't remember where.

Very nice. Are the driving bands covered in copper tape? I recently made some 17 pdr projos and had good results with that method.

There is no image of any of the pioneer tools in the manual or parts list. There is a picture in the parts list of the vehicular tools but the saw is not part of that.

My first thought was mirror arm but unless it's been cut down it hardly seems long enough to clear the stowage bin behind it.

I re-tyred my Diamond T 969 many years ago with part worn 9.00-20. You would be surprised at the variation in diameters. Even Goodyear made in USA and Goodyear made in the UK were significantly different even though both were all service with a similar amount of wear.

5.5 doesn't have a cartridge case nor any way of firing one, you sure it wasn't a 25 pdr?

there is no correlation. WD numbers were issued in blocks and assigned as the vehicles were accepted.

I would doubt they were gloss during wartime.

SCC2 is brown. It might be SCC15, olive drab. It's not mine, sadly, pics came from eBay a few years ago.

Officially, they were painted 'service colour'. This was usually SCC2 service brown which is the same as the modern gloss brown but the matt level makes a huge difference to the shade. I have seen them in green however, not repaints but with original stencilling.

Is anybody having a container coming from Canada to the UK/ Europe? I have some parts in Ontario that I need to ship and due to their awkward shape, a container is by far the best way. Nothing heavy or particularly large, just oddly shaped!

Being twin contact doesn't make them tail/stop. The wiring diagram shown above indicates two wires, one of which goes to earth. Are they not just for twin contact, single filament bulbs?

My tube is very buried which is why I can't measure it but ring and block are accessible for photos and dimensions.

The case looks like a 75mm M5A1 from the howitzer.

I'm not so sure, armoured vehicle owners are notoriously tight.....😀

I wonder what minimum quantity would be seen as viable? Obviously tooling costs, which will be substantial would have to be amortised over the one batch. 

There is The Bentwaters Cold War Museum near to me, the Stevnsfort Cold War Museum in Denmark,  The Cold War Museum in Žemaitija, Russia, another in California etc. 

I would think The British Cold War Museum or even The Hampshire Cold War Museum would be better than Nuclear Holocaust. Can you have a Museum to something that never happened?
