  1. Hello Big Ray, Just wanted to say that I'm thoroughly enjoying your recollections. I'm new here myself and just wanted to say thanks for your time and well written story. Kevin Los Angeles, CA. USA
  2. Hello all, My name is Kevin and I live in Los Angeles, hence my screen name. I'm a veteran of the US Navy 1990-1996, and saw service in the first Gulf War. My rating was Firecontrolman, and I was a missile systems technician. I am currently employed as an aerospace engineer, and get to work on components for military and civilian aircraft. I absolutely love what I do, but my career has dragged me away from turning wrenches for a living. The old joke in aerospace is that the parts have to weigh as much as the paperwork. :nut: However, my hobbies still let me turn wrenches for fun. I've been a motorycle nut since my teenage years, and have had several British, Italian, Japanese and German bikes. I've restored several, though some of those were nearly 'ruined' in my overenthusiastic youth by my customising. My current obsession is Moto Guzzis. I also collect and restore military timepieces. I picked up a '43 M20 last weekend. It is rough, but I plan to be getting it up to mechanical snuff over the next year. Don't think I'll be making it look perfect, but like the fact that the bike I got is pretty original. Well, hello all for now! Kevin
