I was going to ask the same thing, I am taking the wife to visit the Emirates stadium(she is a Arsenal fan!!!) for a tour of the ground for her birthday, and I will have a hour to kill around Highbury, any interesting shops there?

small fortunes about right I think the last one I saw for sale was about £2500 although for display there are some good repros about for a few hundred.I think more than cost actually finding a real one for sale would be the problem

Unfortunatly the No.8s are obsolete (Or should be), the No.8 has been replaced with the L98 now.
The No.8 action body is based on a No.5 action rather than a No.4 but the 5 action is machined from in the white No.4 bodies anyway so you are correct.
Anyone have a No.8?

I was looking at one of these massive AT rifles only today in the ww1 gallery at the imperial war museum and telling my daughter the tales of massive recoil ,Ihave never seen a round for one but was recently looking at a ww2 Russian AT rifle with a 12mm round and that was frightening enough,good luck in your search

I am going down as usual looking for m20 parts,probably wont find anything as usual butb you have to keep looking and after all if there is no bike bits I can always buy some militaria and the wife treats it as a christmas shopping trip for me

well that could have gone better ,leave home 9am bike running well 1/2 mile from my mates house rear tyre blowout,pushed the bike to his place to fit his new spare ,got it on only to find it had split along a seam where it has rubbed in his panniers over timeso drink tea call the aa and go home on a big yellow lorry,see you at the ace next year
