  1. There were bad men in the Waffen-SS yes, but there were bad men in every branch of every army. The atrocities of the Germans is just more widely known because we the victors wrote history, and silently pushed our war crimes under the rug. People I talk with usually have not heard of the massacre at Dachau, were nearly 400 SS prisoners (Not just the camp gaurds, but alot of POW's) were machine gunned by American soldiers. What about the fact that British, and American planes fire bombed a known civilian target and killed a few hundred thousand civilians (Of course im talking about Dresden). Again these war crimes went completely unpunished, and never was there an official apology by the responsible. I don't want to see the Waffen-SS to be forgotten because they may have sworn loyality to the führer, but that doesn't make them evil. They (Like my great uncle) served in the Waffen-SS because its what young men did, it was a sense of pride to be accepted into the SS, and as one of the SS vets who was interviewed on the history channel said, "We enlisted because they looked so professional, and our family and friends told us to join the elite, and do something for our country" Das Reich's war record isn't spotless, but find me a unit of any army who didn't commit war crimes, or executed prisoners. You will never find one...especially on the eastern front.
  2. Lol...I knew that posting something would get some replys. I understand what you guys are talking about, which is why I agree'd to remove the video. However, if it was only because you didn't like the video, well...that would be too bad, but I would not want anything to happen to my hobby, and so I will not put yours in danger either. My grandfather, and his brother both served in the war, one in N. Afrika, and the other on the eastern front. My grandfather was shot down in 42 (Served in the Luftwaffe) and then in 43 sent to America as a POW, where as his brother was killed on the eastern front in 43 (he served in the Waffen-SS). I would reenact luftwaffe in memory of my grandfather, but there is not much to reenact unless you have an flak 18, or an airplane (He for some reason always hated the Fj's...I never got out of him why as he died when I was 10) so I am honoring them both, and all those who fought and died to defend their country (Not their government as they both despised the Nazi party) by reenacting the Germans, and not letting history forget that the Germans are not evil...and anything German shouldn't be pushed under the rug.
  3. I like how all the people who were questioning my sanity...and calling me a sick sadistic son of a bitch, are now totally silent because they realize they were retarded for thinking I would post a video that would purely be about the execution of prisoners.
  4. I have spent about 1000 dollars so far on my impression...and I only need 200 more to complete it...however getting a ww2 vehicle here in the states would cost atleast 5-6 thousand dollars, and thats for a broken down old willys jeep lol
  5. Well because I don't have 1000's of dollars to spend on a vehicle...just on my impression
  6. Thanks for understanding. There is not much of a line here in the states...except if the Germans win...for some reason our public can't handle that. However at the public battle back in June we had were the Germans had to lose the battle, but what I found strange is that it was totally ok for the Russians to kill the Germans who surrendered with point blank rifle fire, or in my case...I got into hand to hand combat with a Russian, and after I killed him, their medic came up and beat me to death with his rifle.
  7. Wow...that is not a word used over here in the states...I have seen it Furore used, but only as a misspelling of the german word.
  8. Call me what you will, but atleast pretend you can spell German...I mean furore ?? Have you ever SEEN the German language??? Führer is I believe what you meant. To clear up some misconceptions here. 1: The execution was NOT an idea of the SS units, as there are 2 there, my unit the 2nd SS "Das Reich" and another group of men from the 1st SS unit from around here. 2: This was NOT done in public views, we actually reenact battles, and don't just do living history over here in the states, because...well living history is boring. 3: This event was completely the idea of the Allied command who is being shot, as well...as far as people know those could be partisans, which I doubt you would be making such a fuss over, or even if the allies were shooting Germans like this. (That would be the case atleast in America, I am not sure what is socially acceptable over there in the UK...we are shown much more violence, and fighting at a younger age over here and things like this are not a problem here) 4: I didn't edit the video to show only parts of the execution...I showed what I recieved, and I am not showing this as a publicity stunt, nor do I care if this gets more views or ratings, as I am not going for that, unlike you all assume I am. 5: I may be an asshole, but I know you guys are freaking out over this, and are worried that it may endanger your hobby, which I can understand. If one of you had come to me through a message, and calmly told me the situation I would have understood. I will attempt recompile the video and remove the execution scene, but I recently had to replace my hard drive, and I believe most of my videos were lost. Give me 2 weeks to get it rehosted, and recompiled. 6: Sit back, calm down and take a deep breath...I am not here to drink your childrens blood or blow up your house. Its just a video.
