silly question but here goes, my l/r is charging on 24v for the radio batteries but after looking at the 24v alternator there seems to be a spare wire in the area of the back of the alternator.

my question is how many wires should be connected this one has two connected 1x large and 1x small wire with 1xsmall hanging

i am in werrington area, i have a 90 ffr which i want to kit out, i also have a collection of military radios that i trade, at the momemt i have lots of clansman kit to get rid of, the 90 ffr i will be getting ready to register this month as its a new release from the MoD
