  2. Hi andy , a massive thankyou for your time and effort ,the pictures and link to the manual , i think that we will wait and get the correct size and spec cover for our trailer , the pictures and info will def help us so much with our trailer , maybe it,ll be best try beltring for one as the e bay one,s seem to be for widetrack ones , we hope that no rhubarb were harmed during the taking of the photos , thanks again terry

  3. well , i spoke to some other sankey trailer owners at trucks and troops , and to put it politely they said that its quite rare to find a cover and they suggested e bay or wait til war and peace

so maybe stillage you bid on might be finding its way there , oh and i got told off at the weekend for towing the sankey trailer behind our 1944 dodge wc56 , as it is,nt the correct trailer for it ! i could understand if the two were hitched together and on display but the trailer was left in the camping field , shame on me :red: , i,ll have to save up and buy a lightweight , i work at a landrover agent but i doubt that,d have counted as an acceptable excuse ! :D

  4. Hi , we went to trucks and troops on thurs evening and the show seemed to be even smaller this year , only one burger van selling burger n chips for £7.60 , bargain !!! we pre booked the evening entertainment tickets hoping it,d be worth the money but it did look more like a fancy dress party than something for everyone , did,nt bother with taking our truck around the arena as there appeared to be no one watching anyhow , the one good thing was the d-day tour on the friday evening , which was an impressive sight and was the high point of my weekend , i think i,ll have to seriously consider going next year as it cost us £160 in petrol alone , i know the weather was,nt great but the show does seem to be getting smaller even tho it,s supposed to be the mvt national show , at one end of the scale you,ve got trucks and troops with excellent facilities and a poor turnout and war and peace with terrible facilities but high turnout and exibitor price , i,m probably asking too much but is there any show that could have the best of both ?

  5. Hi , i have been offered a cover by someone that was selling one on ebay and did,nt meet its reserve price of £80 plus p&p , he,s offered it to me for £50 plus p&p , the dimensions they give are 94" by 76" and the number on it is FV255516 it is dated 1997 , will this be alright for my narrow track sankey trailer and is it worth the price ?

  6. thanks for your reply , i,d never seen one before and today i eventually got round to changing the month on my mvt calender and there,s a QL with one on there aswell ! thanks i,ll know what it is next time i see one

  7. Hi everyone , wondering if anyone can answer a question , i went to my local steam rally today and there i saw a bedford QL , the question is that on the nearside front of the cab side just under the level of the windscreen was an white and red arm that folded downwards into a bracket , the arm looked like a trafficator arm , it was only fitted to the nearside , what is this arm and how and what was it used for ???
