  1. Dear Les.

Just wondered if you could help a friend out regarding the Taskers Queen Mary trailer, basically he would like to know what the mechanism is for that is at the front of the trailer before the swan neck, it looks like a pump of some sort but no one seems to know what its for, its the one which is actually in the framework of the trailer.

    Regards

  2. My real name is Dick Smith & am known as dizzy-t, for obvious reasons, I am an ardent fan of the Old Diamond T, I used to work at a local Army camp in the late 1960's, where we had the last of the Diamond T's open cab and closed cab. I was one of the contributers of the book by Les Freathy, my photos appeared on many pages, including the advert for the DT on page 10 & 248, I bought this on ebay many years ago & it is dated May 23rd 1942. other photos I sent in are on pages 193, (top photo) Pigotts DT. Can any one tell me if there is a large scale model kit of a Diamond T to make, apart from the resin one, (I have never worked with resin, so dont know how hard it is to make the model.) I have never heard of a Diamond T club, thought some one would have got one going.

    Regards to all

    Dick Smith
