  1. Hi David Robertson, thanks for uploading the pictures of your GMC, have to admit yours looks very nice. I believe that there is another Airportable tipper in this country ( but fitted with a closed cab) on milweb, but apart from that one i don't know of any others.

Am I right in thinking your GMC was an ex Dutch vehicle? Also what was the wiring like in your cab? As ours looks like a "birds nest"(!). What is the serial number of your truck?

  2. Hi all, here are a few more pictures of the work we did to the GMC in the winter months and also our first show at Ipswich in the jimmy, this winter it will be a case of getting the cargo bed off and getting the winch and tipper mechanism to work and repairing the cab floor

  4. thanks abn deuce, the first three numbers of the serial are 488, the picture which i have attached shows its state when we first picked her up last september (its the same truck that was on cckw.org) so since (as you can see from the other photos) she has started to change but still needs some work done, its a dutch return vehicle, am i right in thinking yours is too? Any info you have would be great

  5. Hi all, could someone on here tell me the amount of airportable GMC tippers that were produced and when (as others have told me either '43 or '45), as i have looked on the GMC production thread, am i right in thinking that the airportable tippers would have been produced sometime from Nov '44-May '45??
