Well I got down the fort and with lots of doom and gloom from the local moral boosting team in residence I got some of the ancillerys off Sheared off a clutch bolt and rounded another and the head and starter bolts are being a *****
now thats not nice lol,we always give moral support!!!!!!and the usual breakdown service lol

was even less on saturday and only half the museum was open,poor really i think but nevermind i think some of the kids got their photos taken by the local paper on saturday and a local tv thingy took some film but can't find it yet?

the cab is nearly off now but the weather is hampering the work so far,all the old timber has been removed, as they say work in progress

it looks a similar colour but may be off something plant as you say?there is a radiator cap on the top but it looks like the rad was smaller as it has a pipe from it.

thurrock services to the fort is shorter if it does got tits up again,but it should be reliable after all this work...if you want to do it at the weekend all present and correct

hi all,here are a couple of photos of a 1943 Austin k6 tipper donated to coalhouse fort,as you can see it needs total restoration as it was near a fire which took hold of the tipper body but all parts are there.Today was delivery day with some photos to come later.

no just the twilight zone................no seriously whatever,chillout with new friends, have a drink,build a small fire go for a meal or just go to sleep depends on what mood your in?

hi clive,got a copy of the history cards but they start from 1972 but the DIS is 1954,the armour plates inside have been removed for getting to the wiring and painting by some of its previous owners but i still have them.what are EARP? a bit thick sometimes.heres a photo of one of the data plates

definatley had some fun when it was delivered,driving around the fort at 10pm with no lights great fun!!!!!!!!!
