As others have said i found the articles rather repetative.I found most of the articles centered around one particular era,which if thats your preferance fine but as the cost rose i found it abit of a waste of my money.I do have the occasional flick and purchase but very rarely.

As for the club mags they have their moments with artilces but i do find them more informative and most of the articles have a wider time span,but as they say you can't please everyone.

I was never offered transport costs for the Chieftain ARRV.

 

Some paid a reduced rate for there vehicles being transported and some managed to pay nothing for their transport.

 

The above applied not only to tanks.

me neither,last year i was quoted £1500 plus vat plus tolls to take two saracens so needless to say they didin't go!

unfortunatley war and peace has lost its feeling for me.as now im branded as a scammer for getting a driver in for one of my vehicles who isn't an imps member i'm giving this year a miss,i wish it only cost me £35 to camp onsite for 10 days.as my wife says we could have a proper holiday for what it costs lol

went down for the week,drove the k9 down no problems but it don't like long hills.had stupid quotes for transporting the saracen down so it didn't go,it did seem alot of the larger vehicles were missing,but did have fun with the landrover on sunday in the mud even though a couple of bits fell off.all in all good show and even got an award for the k9 roll on next year hopefully.

Thanks for the offer Neil,but the exhaust is away for reskinning so it may be abit tight for time as the tyres for the k9 need changing as well.hopefully it'll get to daymns as I had more fun in the arena.

I'll be taking the landy and k9 been getting stupid quotes for the Saracen so I think that may have too miss it this year

i used to have one of those penthouses went away for repair and haven't seen it since that was about 10 years ago,the stitching had rotted away and it was falling apart.

not many vehicle parts,none of the major dealers but bargins can be found.

hi all anyone know if a k9 headgasket needs a specific torque setting as the manual i've got says tighten down then half a turn each headnut in the sequence,but how tight?seems abit vague.

sorry thats what i ment trophy..lol

just needs abit more armour...wink wink
