I was musing over buying a Commer Q4 for British WW2 but wasnt sure: I've seen some manuals on eBay for the Q4 dated 1944 - but was told that some people were sure they were not used in ww2. Equally what differences do 1950s Commer Q4s have from 1940s Commer Q4s? And finally what class of liscence is needed to drive a Q4?

Hey all, I'm a student at Swansea Uni, and have taken up big interest in ww2 military vehicles after starting reenacting. Have one big question... was the Commer Q4 made during the second world war and can anyone reccommend a good 'cheap' naturally 'cheap' being in italics British outline vehicle thats pretty easy to work on etc. Cheers gents
