Not far enough in my opinion!

You are probably quite right. I have ways of finding out, watch this space!

Most pics taken in 2001. I wonder where the 40 ton Cent is now?

There was an RB44 for sale at our annual rally at Mount Edgcumbe last weekend, no idea on price, but I may have a pic. After checking, I haven't! Looked tidy though.

I'd rather have this one.....http://www.mod-sales.com/direct/vehicle/,26,54,/28632/Foden.htm

Sadly the ARV sounded a bit poorly! Good film from Duxford though, it looked liked the guns were not stabilized, no finer site than a Cent/Conq/Chieftain doing a cross country battle run with the gun staying exactly on the target.
-
Duxford run theirs I think.

I will admit to have never seen a Tiger on the move, how many of us have? I cannot believe it would compare with a BRITISH Conqueror MBT in full flow across country. Our regiment had a Conq troop in each squadron, and believe me, a Conq on the move is a bit special. Tell that to the punters and they wouldn't believe you.......

BUT, we all know that the only vehicles people would be interested in would be WW2 German gear.
I WOULDN'T!!!

Just back from our annual mil vehicle rally. I'll try to find the CD!!

A friend and me viewed the stuff "around the back" at Bovvy some years ago, much more interesting than than kit in the museum. I have pics on a CD I think. Watch this space, but not for a few days.

Personalised plate perhaps?

A bit late with this...Mount Edgcumbe event this weekend, 27/28/29/30 August. Cornwall area of the MVT. Mt E is near Millbrook on the Rame Peninsula.

Just finished Phoenix Squadron, as recommended, good read, interesting bit of history, not as good a Vulcan 607 though.
Did the Vulcan appear at Bournemouth?

Chatting to the Oshkosh crew, I learnt that they are based at Bulford. One of them said they are part of an "agency", and get the call to transport tanks from time to time. Presumably the civvy registration would show that they are civvy owned vehicles. The Challenger, not the proper recruiting team one, was "signed out" from the stores!!
PS if they were Cornish ones they would have WK or WL registrations!
-
Nah not private, The Cornish home guard has been using them a while now to transport their tanks to defend the peninsula:-D
Christian
Quite right too!

Tiger
in MV Chatter
£4.99 for a Tiger seems about right to me.................what, it's a model????
Rule Britannia.

John, there's one at Elvington. Not sure if you can climb all over it, but you can ask.
