Hi Andy, I have been viewing your 969 on Stormin's showthread. I congratulate you on a stunning restoration. Okay so it took 17 years but it must be a most satisfying result.

How was Normandy, were there any teething problems?

As you know I am looking at getting the 980 done in just a few years (although the completion date is continually slipping). If work allows I am currently looking at late next year for the first show outing. There are plenty of events within 10 miles of Stroud so no excuse not to get out and about.

You will be pleased to know that the scuttle and cab were re-united last Friday, a dry assembly only, but they mated up very well. The doors are currently being re-skinned and hopefully we are looking at getting the top coat on within a few weeks. The cab and winch should be lifted back onto the chassis late summer or early autumn leaving me to then concentrate on the bonnet and radiator.
