  1. Having trawled through many threads I found one where a chap has replaced a 300 petrol to a 330 diesel and to get around the conundrum they used a transit alternator with a vacuum pump attached to feed the hydraulic brakes setup so there is no reason why an electric vacuum pump will be a good solution. 👍
  2. Good evening, A friend is fitting a 330 engine to a vehicle that had a 214 petrol in originally with vacuum/hydraulics brakes, an option to keep the same brake setup would be to fit an electric vacuum pump to get around the problem that 330s have air compressors fitted. Has anyone had any experience of this please as it seems to be a good solution. Many thanks in advance.
