Bloody hell!! yes it certainly does look like one. I spent hours trawling through the various manuals etc searching LOL. It just needed a different pair of eyes looking at it. Thanks you so much. Ha ha ha and the better thing is I don't need a new one! I wonder how long that clip had been kicking round in that bell housing? How many owners ago was it? I will never know.

Hi again fellas. I am still sorting out the various bits and pieces and can actually feel like I am making some progress. I found this piece of metal behind the flywheel, and it looks as if it has had a bad time. I have searched the manual and looked at lots of online stuff but cannot find anything that it might be. Can anyone on here help? It looks like a I need a new one for somewhere but until I can find out a description I am stumped. Thanks, Nigel.

OK, I have had a couple of days off sorting through boxes. So far the main one I have not been able to place is this. Again, is it from a jeep, or should it be put in the 'other' box?

Another question from todays sorting through boxes. What is this part? It looks like it should be an engine or transmission support but I cant find it anywhere in the book. Unless it is from a totally different vehicle and that is not impossible. Thanks again for any assistance.

Ok guys, as a complete novice I could do with a pointer as to where I could get a list of all the correct nuts and bolts etc I will need for some rebuilding of the jeep I have just got. I have the bible 'complete WW2 military jeep manual' but this seems to miss out the details of lengths, sizes, threads etc. I guess there are some other technical bulletins not covered by this manual. Can any of you help? Thanks.
