One was sold in this country about 5 years so in theory still around to view.   The Royal Artillery Historical Collection may also have one in their collection in Wiltshire.

Thanks , I have now located a JAP engine, just need to find a generator and a Bristol Bofors manual

Just found some info on the Charger, Battery, it is given as being part no. AN.386.MA

There is also a note showing that the charger is an Air Ministry item No. 42U/500 modified by increasing  the petrol tank capacity from 2 to 3 pints and reversing the instrument panel.

Thanks Richard, if you find the the CD I would love a copy. All costs of copying would be covered

Just bought a Humber 1 Ton truck. The only identification plate is a small rectangular plate on the engine side of the bulkhead. There is a ‘C’ etched into the plate at the top and stamped underneath is 3619 and the what appears to be WT. There is no sign of the larger brass plate on the vehicle.

I believe the 1 Ton Humbers were in the ‘BK’ series of ERM’s and having looked at other Humbers, the digits appear to relate to the last 4 digits of the chassis number… so in my case 36BK19?

Does anyone have any ideas? There’s nothing for 36BK19 when searching on the RLC’s website.

    Cheers

    Steve

Hi Steve, do you have a photo of the vehicle?  And where are you based? I sold one like it earlier this year and May have some info

Hi all, anybody know the correct hydraulic oil to use in an Atlas crane on a Militant?  If my memory is still good we used to use OM33 for most plant hydraulics, back in the day, but what is a civilian equivalent?

Hi, I use a group two based iso 15 such as HLP 15
