Nice truck mate. I have a 1996 M1078 which is mostly complete. I do need the exterior door handle for the drivers door. Have you had any luck finding parts? I know a few others with trucks and we all looking for one part or another. Hopefully as more are sold, there may be more parts showing up.

Hi, I own a 84 M1008 and have had it since 2007. It is located in Colorado where I live half of the year and the other half in North Yorkshire. It is a good running truck but it does have a lot of rust. The only modifications I have done is to lift the suspension and put on much taller tires.

I live half of the year in Harrogate in North Yorkshire and the other half of the year in Colorado, US. I have owned many military vehicles and have always been a big fan. I currently have a 1984 CUCV M1008, an M817 dump truck that I use as a dump truck and a M1078, all of them in Colorado. The M1078 is by far my favourite truck and I have plans to upgrade and modify it for maximum fun. I am very mechanical and have most of all the tools I need to do whatever I need to do. Cheers, Jeff
