im told its used for aircraft hydraulic systems, gun turrets, landing gear etc

ive recently acquired this ww2 air ministry aircraft hydraulic tester, the frame is in original condition, the engine runs but has been repainted some years ago which now has nice patina on it,im planning on putting it back into its frame to make it complete, therefore I was enquiring if anyone has any knowledge or info relating to it as I seem,so far to be drawing a blank I'm assuming its mite be a rare item as I'm told a lot that were purchased at mod sales were bought just for the engine (petter),greatfull for any help, thanks.

Please excuse my ignorance but is that a Zwicky bowser?
Paul.
hi paul,im not sure if u received my reply sometime ago but yes the pump would have been zwicky, the engine (lister A type),the tanks prob by butterfields or brockhouse & the proper chassis by eagle or brockhouse, leafspring or torsion bar suspension.

This is the 450gall bowser ive finally got home after 2years of trying, its in good cond ive got a spare cabinet to go back on the front as its been cut off n used as a farm fuel bowser, the chassis its sat on has been 2parts of the bigger type trolleys (used for the tall boys etc) welded together,i have a brockhouse chassis for it to go on,ive washed it off n sprayed it with oil which brought out some traces of the wartime colours.

got started on remaking the steering tiebar n added handles to the drawbar,im having to burn off most of the wheel nuts as badly corroded, need some hubcaps for this one if anyone has any? this is the 1st one I bought & has been in storage until now hopefully I will get it done along with my latest one ready for show season.
