Hi My name is Dona and my boyfriend is John. We live in the Bay Area or
for those not familiar in the San Francisco Bay Area. John has always
been a history buff.
About 5 years ago he acquired a WWII Welbike with
the engine #XXE228 and frame # 38. It does run, there is a fuel line
missing and he filled the carburetor with a premix gas with 2 stroke oil
and ran it until it ran out of fuel. There doesn’t seem to be any rust.
He has just recently been gathering information and history on these
bikes. He has been trying to figure whether its worth keeping or selling.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
