  1. Hi, First off, appologies, I know nothing about military vehicles so if you can help please treat me as a military vehicle numpty. I have 4 items that I am trying to identify. They look like stabilization legs for a trailer or vehicle of military origin. I wanted to know a couple of things about them: What vehicle might they be from? What sort of capacity they can take? Here is one: http://i1313.photobucket.com/albums/t559/madeinpriddy/army_leg_zps88fe6462.jpg I will feel particularly foolish if you now tell me they are not military but looking at the expensive alloy construction I think they must be. Presumably something that is designed to be air lifted? Thanks in advance for your help. BM.
  2. Hi, I hope that you don't mind me visiting your forum. Sad to say I don't really have a particular interest in military vehicle restoration So, what am I doing here I hear you ask? Well I was after a little info. I am sure that introductions is not really the correct forum but I will post here and in the "I'm being stupid" forum. I acquired some thingies (insert correct term here) that I think are hand cranked tongue legs or some other kind of stabilization legs and I was intrigued as to what they were? Also what capacity they are designed to take? So, here they are: http://i1313.photobucket.com/albums/t559/madeinpriddy/army_leg_zps88fe6462.jpg The outer is very nicely machined aluminum and they shout military to me. I am sure somebody will tell me I am totally wrong and a complete numpty but hey, I can take that. Hope that you don't feel I am taking advantage of your forum, was not really sure where else to ask.... Cheers, BM.
