Hi Bob,nice to meet you, Yes I know the forest of Dean spent some time camping down there. Ashchurch was mostly tanks,and heavy lorries but I remember looking at the austin champs that came in,very nice. Bob I have been trying to find out if the 6.00x16' tyres will fit on to the lwb rims 5.5'x16" or do they have to fit on the swb rims 5.00x16" . thought that you may know. Terry.

Hi Jack, thank's for the welcome and Hi to all members. My name is Terry, born 25-05-39.in Winchcombe glos. Now living on the Isle of Wight. Did my apprentice as a sheet metal worker, then spent 3 years at the Ashchurch REME camp nr Tewsbury, working on repairing military vehicles. Have moved around a lot since then. I am a radio ham call sign g0wvd. As of late, I have been restoring a 1966 swb petrol land rover, hence the reason for looking at this site, when looking for tyres.
