Hi all, only recently joined (10 minutes ago ) Not strictly all Military vehicles but one section does deal with my first ever lightweight and a running resto to keep her on the road.... Not strictly by the book or anywhere near how she looked in service but at least it kept her out of the scrap yard... I have now moved on to a Series 3 FFR Lightweight that will be getting a thorough strip and rebuild after xmas so will be updating the site with a better more detailed write up on the new toy... http://landyz.co.uk Cheers Steve

Hi all, A brief intro is called for so here goes, I've been in and around military vehicles for some time.... 22 years served, 18 months to push however my hobby has always been Landrovers, I have restored a Lightweight some time ago although afraid to say not to the spec it saw when in service (sorry lol) and Ive now got a 24 volt ffr that is about to receive a TDI heart transplant.... I know its not original but Im a glutton for punishment and it means I can use it as a daily drive, I've also got an early ex military series 2A waiting in the wings in many boxes when I 'get the time' Do the usual round of summer shows but have only managed war n peace on the one occasion Currently stationed in the London area and commuting back to Lancs most weekends Hope to spend an amount of time on here now I've found the site although Im afraid to confess I actually found the site looking for somewhere to sell my 12x12 now Ive invested in a non military smaller tent... however having browsed a few posts it looks like it will be a very informamtive and useful place to hang out Cheers Steve
