I am 23 years old and from Far North Queensland, Australia.
I have an interest in many old things, but currently own (among other things) a Douglas twin ft35 generator motor, and a matching numbers 1950 Royal Enfield 500 twin, the bike being sold locally when new.
I have registered on this website in the hope of getting some information on a motorcycle which I am interested in.
The bike in question in apparently a 1938 Royal Enfield Model L 570cc sv single. Engine number: L11445 Frame number: 23889.
Any information at all on these cycles would be greatly appreciated. I am also wondering what one of these in running condition is worth? I have a couple of photos I will post on here, which should help with a positive ID of the machine.
