  1. Ten of the Foden delousing vehicles were bought for $1745 each in 1919 and sent with the American Polish Relief Expedition 1919-1921. "Typhus and Doughboys" ebooks may be read free online by a google search. There are many pictures and descriptions of the epidemic.
  2. This Foden steam delouising vehicle is unit marked YD, the US 26th Yankee Division. The crew is assisted by German prisoners in one of the pictures. The 101st Sanitation Train was part of the 26th Division which arrived in France September 21, 1917.
  3. This US Army Aviation Section Signal Corps truck and crew outside their equipment shed is nicely detailed. I would appreciate information about the likely unit, equipment and location details.
  4. I was named for an uncle killed in Normandy with the 2nd Regt. Fife & Forfar Yeomanry Cavalry. As a US armor officer I served in 1st Squadron First Armored Cavalry Regiment, Americal Division in Vietnam. Presently I'm on a veterans committee planning for restored WW2 LST 325 to visit Nashville, Tennessee September 18-25, 2012. Arrranging for enthusiastic reenactors and visitors are included among my recent activities. LST 325 was involved with the invasions of Sicily, Salerno and Normandy making 44 trips between England and France, June 1944-April 1945. There are several LST 325 videos and descriptions on the internet including http://www.lstmemorial.org/pages/history.html
