  1. Thanks everyone for the welcome. We have been pointed in the direction of the West Wilts Military Vehicle Trust so hopefully they will be able to help. Fingers crossed! When I wrote the script I never imagined how hard it would be to get hold of an army vehicle!
  2. Hi, I made a documentary about soldiers with PTSD called A Brutal Peace which was screened as part of the World Congress for Traumatic Stress in Argentina. Also a short drama about a Falkland's vet based on a true story. Was also commissioned by the Wiltshire History Centre a few years ago to make an 'artist' film using old archive and photos, called War Women exploring 400 years of women's relationship with war. Made other films too but those are most relevant here probably! i am now in pre-production on a no-budget short fiction film about a woman soldier who is killed in action and how those who love her cope with their grief. We will be shooting one of the scenes in Aldbourne, Wilts on 22nd April 2012 and I was wondering is anyone would be interested in having their covered army jeep or army truck feature in the film. It would just have to drive onto the village green and out of it would emerge 10 women of all ages who will then sing the song "Angie" by the Rolling Stones. If anyone thinks that would be a fun thing to be part of then please do get in contact. Many thanks. Lou
  3. Hi, My name is Lou Hamilton and I am a filmmaker. I came across this forum when I was looking up army vehicles in Aldbourne (the village where I grew up).
