Welcome on board, nice part of the world. I have a place in Great Massingham so nearest coast is Holkham Beach, which is rather pleasant

looks great, you should be proud of that

Do you know where the picture was taken? That might help, a lot of stuff went to Africa from Goole. You know Paul, looking at them the look to be 'Office Body' types like yopurs. How is the Old Lady by the way?
They do, and lots of them. She's OK, just working through some cooling system issues. Got a new rad cap that should sort things. Hope to be at some shows next year in the old girl

I wonder where they are off to? They look decommissioned to me

I agree Paul, it was a landmark in history and yet seems under appreciated in collecting terms. Anything in particular you'd like to see? I can try to fathom out the whole uploading images thing :-) regards. Andrew
Well all of it... pending that mammoth task the iconic pieces

welcome on board
A much neglected area in collecting I reckon. Would be good to see your pieces

they were used and it was an official modification call Xylophone
They also modified a German 251 1/2 track as well, cutting the side out and using the mechanism off a 105mm howitzer

really very nice and looks to be pretty complete
My new toy: 1943 M5 1/2 track

well after wanting one for a while I have a new long term project via my pal Jon Hickman, its a nice early M5 1/2 track. I haven't done all the research h yet but assuming British (or Commonwealth use) and then shipped to Argentina where it looks like it was converted to a mortar carrier and had a Fiat/Iveco diesel fitted. Otherwise its pretty much complete and comes with most of the missing bits such as winch, lights, brackets etc
I am going to restore as a British (or maybe Polish vehicle) and keep the diesel engine for now. All rather excited if I am honest
