I don't own a historic military vehicle (mores the pity!), and living in Cornwall we don't appear to have any historic military vehicle displays near to me so I am currently a registered "lurker", although I find the site of great interest.
I have the registration number of the Bedford 3 ton truck that my late father travelled in from Normandy to Denmark between June '44 and May '45 - would anyone be able to tell me anything about it - the RAF reg. no was 104880 - this is taken from a 125 Wing convoy running order of July 1944.
Also, if any member has access to June 1944 LST loading tables, inc. vehicle reg. numbers, and/or unit details if possible, from Gosport I would love to hear from them as well.
