  1. They will be fine Dave, all three of them ride moto cross bikes and stunt bike so they are used to bumps and bangs. Dazzer the little fat one has been in and out of hospital more times than iv had hot dinners. We really should put his stabilizers back on

What we need to do is spice the game up a bit, any ideas :dunno:. I think the blind fold should be brought into play. any more ideas will be greatfully received.

  2. Right guys and gals

I have submitted the revised route for the Plain invasion 2008. The new route will be sent on to the next leval TAEM-100 approval. Bob has also asked for a number of vehicles that will be attending the visit. This is for the use of booking the vehicles onto the SPTA. This only has to be approx due to the fact that this early in the proceedings some may join up and some may drop out. He has also informed me that the WWT will be holding there annual ramblers day out :-D so we may have to change our route at short notice. Non of the above is a problem for us.

anyone wishing to turn up on Friday May 2nd must understand that there will be no drive outs. This is due to the fact that there may still be troops out and want a clear run back to camp. This is another request from Westdown. The Bustard inn will still be open and if the weather is good we could always have a game of footie in the car park. Certain other thing are moving at great speed, Jack you know what I am talking about

So thats about it for this week, if I hear anything else you will be the first to hear

  3. Well done Tone, yes it is a military paint ball. The Army have been useing them quite a lot up at Cope hill training village (FIBUA). The percusion cap hurts like hell when it hit you and the paint washs of easly. This is cheaper than DFWES.

  4. :-D Its easy in this time of defence cuts so much money is used up on the ranges now all you do is lay in front of the target and a big felt tip pen hits it when you fire aka a protracting pencil.

    Ill get my coat! :-D

Like the sound of that. ( freindly weapons ) did't they use somthing like that during WW1 for training to shoot strait. Saw somthing on the lines of a spring loaded spike that would shoot out the barrel and stick a paper target :dunno:

  5. A training round which enables automatic function without the need of a blank-firing adaptor to force gases through the working parts and push the spring back?

When the round fires, the piston extends, pushing against the face of the breech creating the impulse to recock the weapon. Perhaps?

You are close Alien FTM with the forcing of gas. BUT in this case it is not gas. With-out giving to much away the projectile is housed with-in the piston. the rest is just a standard round.

  6. Stop cheating and looking on my web site. You are correct, its the MLRS recovery vehicle. One of only 4 under trials with the British Army. I think the Americans have had these for some time. The first thing they did was to remove all the blast shields from the windows. Also note that they have fitted a GPMG mount which you don't see on the standard MLRS Artillary system. Well done chaps thought I had you there
