Was the Jackson painted during the show as a rather rusty unpainted one disappeared from Outer Monktons at the begining of the show and a painted one appeared near the living history towards the end of the show ! Did anyone catch Jack wielding a 4 inch brush by any chance ?

Yes it was, I painted it with three other guys from N44

Thank you for the updates guys, I have about 80 reenactors from various parts of the world coming to our pitch (N44) it's good to get pictoral updates of the fields and vehicles arriving, it all adds to the excitement!!!

Will be there myself on Monday around midday, cant wait!!!

All fine to go ahead with that. In 2010 members were allowed to walk up through the street with weapons. This down to the police Insp giving his permission - that will be the same again this year, we will have to see what he says on the day.

With regard to weapons and blades etc, please see me on the day as I will be liaising with the Police to ensure we do this safely, in 2010, all weapons were counted before going on display then counted again when we returned from a walkabout in Dorch, it's common sense really guys, keep weapons with you or stay with them if fixed to vehicles, bladed weapons should remain sheathed and not waved around for all to see.

Think like a copper with regard to what is reasonable and what is not and you can't go far wrong, if you are unsure ask me.

Friday is education day.

This is where we will be bringing a number armoured vehicles and soft skins into Dorchester town. I am trying to beat the council up so we can bring them into the high street which is pedestrianised :whilst:

 

This is so the school kiddies can come and see us and learn about their history. I have spoken with some tankers and SPGers :-| who are happy to do that. Will also need some soft skin dudes and outriders so if you would like to be a part of that then just let me know on here.

 

It will also build the ambience of the town of what's to come - they won't know what is going to hit them :angel:

 

Again full WWII kit please and Donut Ron will be there so you can get your donuts and coffee

I agree with Degsy, highly unlikely for a white T shirt to be worn, more likely to be a vest (now man up and show off those wasted hours in the gym with a vest)!!!
