We are very sorry to hear of your loss.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Not quite so daft as it might sound although probably too late now presumably with dozens if not hundreds of leave boats returning the seabed of Dover and Folkestone must have been covered in weapons at the time.
A local collector I know has the remains of a maxin gun that was picked up by a fishing trawler!

I once found a M3 lee tank that was cut down at track level in a local quarry.
It was to far gone to be rebuilt into a tank and had gone through a flood (killed the engine and gearbox)
but the tracks and idler wheels fitted were mint.
Told the manager of the quarry I wanted to purchase it (the whole tank) but at the time they didn't want to sell, fair enough left my number with them and headed off home.
A few months later I bumped into the manager and asked about the M3, turns out they had a clean up and got a scrappy in and he ended up taking it with a pile of other stuff.
I was so mad, I did like the look on the managers face after he told me what he got for it then me telling him I would have doubled it easily.
His and my loss

Welcome to the Forum mate!
-
gonna show my ignorance and have a stab at identifying...
...I haven't a clue what the tank in the first two photos is (or should I say 'was')...
.but the rest I reckons is or was......2 Stuarts and a Lee Grant ???.....
...any good?........
I reckon 2 stuarts and 2 grants, 1 grant fitted with centurion tracks and wheels.

Any up dates Supertrack?
-
Welcome to the forum mate.
-
Any up dates on your fantastic project Rick?
-
yes they had built a small number of Stuarts and Shermans with diesel engines but kept them for training purposes state side only.
Diesel shermans (M4A2?) were used in the Pacific theatre of the war.
Lucas,
