  1. Paul, thank you for your email its great to put details to just a voice on the end of the phone... Unfortunatley there is no MOD plate by the drivers side, it looks like it has been removed, which doesnt make my job any easier... but then life would be boring if it was easy.... ive been doing some research into the colours of blue and red and come up with three possibles, those being;;;; red caps, artiliary and signals... im hope to go to stoneleigh this weekend to get some advice is there anyone else going?
  2. Hi and welcome to my posting about me, my landis and my family. Im sarah and my partner is Ian and we have a daughter together Georgia. We live near to Brighton in West Sussex. We have two landis, a 110 P reg, she was purchased August last year after our other 110 was stolen off our drive in the mid of the night, god rest her sole... but we have just purchased a 109. She was born on the 10th Feb 1070 according to Landrover, as was sold to CVD Hilton which im told was a military depot based just outside of Derby. She was then posted but we dont know where or when but was then sold to her last owners around 1980, but we are unsure of some of the details as we have no log book etc we dont even have a set of keys!!! We are full members of SLSLRC (london to brighton organsation) and Series 1,2,3,90 and 110 club. I do have a few questions about my landi... Does anyone know where the documents from CVD Hilton went to ? Will i be able to trace what units she was deployed to ? What colour unit is navy blue, with a red strip runing down her wasit? Will i be able to find and reapply her insigna to of the units she was stationed? Im sure as i find out more details about her it will only lead to more questions... Thanks and best wishes sarah
