  1. Hi there here is a picture of the above vehicle - sorry about the quality
  2. Here is a picture of my land rovers (2 off) Ex Army (Australian) Series IIa 1964 Fire Tender, made in partnership between Australian Army Engineers and Land Rover UK. They are fitted with a Covenrty Climax 500 gallons per minute PTO driven pump - the vehicle has been undergoing a restoration for the past 5 years (parts a difficult to find) - almost completted (done 26000 miles from new. LWB Series I 1958 Ex Woomera Emergency Services , originally painted red but repainted white when purchased by a local rural fire service in 1971. Its fitted with a rear AMAG 300 gallon per minte pto driven pump - the vehcile is in good condition only done 13000 miles.
  3. Hi there all Its only my second post on the site - but I am after some infomation regarding a series I Land Rover Restoration. I believe the vehicle may have been used at Woomera durring the testing of the A bomb era. The vehicle is a SWB (soft top) in reasonable good condition for its age but the front guards have been painted yellow. Being Woomera was a predominately a British area I was hoping they may be some pictures around - no harm in asking I was told the following infomation: I also have another vehicle from Woomera being a 1958 Fire Engine - the vehicle is in very good condition for it age - achievieving only13000 miles in its life, I will post pictures later.
