Hi to all Matador owners, I am currently restoring a 1940 gun tractor O853250 back to its full military spec. It has been necessary to make lots of new parts. We have made the tooling to be able to make the hoops for the sides and roof from 20 X 40 mm channel. We can offer full sets of these hoops for sell. I have been preparing many drawings for various body parts. Hi everyone. recently acquired a part restored AEC Matador artillery tractor which I intend to have running for next years rally season all being well. My main interest is in Steam world and restoration and in fact is our business as well. Since acquiring this project I have found some very interesting people and owners of these wonderful vehicles. As this will be a big undertaking on top of all our other projects I have decided to try and find a tractor already restored. Looking mainly for one built during WWII and with the tropicle roof.
