I think the other videos he has done may be of more interest. Especially the ones in the construction yard. Plenty of old CMP's, Jeeps, and a gantry Austin K6 to name a few.

These taps were also used on some outboard motors. Corks are available from Sheridan marine. https://www.sheridanmarine.com/product/british-seagull-outboard-metal-fuel-tap-overhaul-kit
I seem to remember someone replacing the corks with nitrile O rings mounted on brass spacers.

I have the spanner for the head but one problem is not all the bolts are fully accessible to pull on the spanner. Some you can only push the spanner which I feel would give a variation in tightness!

Cheers Richard, your help is much appreciated.

Hi all,
I have just had the head skimmed on my Bedford MW after a head gasket failure, and reading the manual there are no torque settings for the head bolts. The book says just to tighten the bolts!
Anyone got a suitable ball park figure for the torque settings?
Cheers

Two truck cabs looking similar to a Forson WOT8, one with no roof, on a trailer behind a dropside van going clockwise round the M25 near Heathrow yesterday about 2:30. Wheelarches and the missing roof in the back of the dropside.

I was wondering if there were any celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of Dunkirk this year?
I thought we could all take our trucks to the beach, leave them there, and catch the ferry home :cool2:

Hi Terrierman,
Is it the all steel body you are after pictures for or the wooden body?
The diagram looks like it might be the wooden variant.
Ours is the steel type but I think there is a wooden one in Northampton.

Fuel cans for use on boats are usefull when bench testing, especially with the quick release connectors and a lot safer than a pipe in an open jerrycan!

It looks very similar but it is lacking the rectangular strip on the edge to attatch to the cupola side.

Have you considered a SUMB? Portal axles and a nice flathead V8 engine.
One on Ebay at the moment and they generally seem to be quite cheap at the moment.

What sort of price for a Bedford MW engine? I could be interested!
