I took my Reo to Waddo (300 mile round trip)

purely to see 558, obviously disapointed but had a good time anyway

The permit to fly was not issued due to destructive testing on a scrap Vulcan not being done on time and an extention to existing permit to fly refused.

A Victor DID fly a couple of weeks ago at Bruntingthorpes Cold war jets day

ACCIDENTLY!!!!!:shocked:

I took my H test in a mini digger that the examiner was well aware was not road registered on private land, as aranged with him in advance.

To my great surprise 15mins later I had a pass certificate in my hand and hadnt been anywhere near a road!

The test cost me about £45.00 and the digger hire £70.00 pretty good value I feel especially as I used the digger to do some work later that day (after having a whizz in the 432!)

However I must add this was 4 years ago

I`ve been lurking for a while so I thought i`d better register and introduce myself

I`ve been messin with MV`s for about 12 years and love every minute of it (almost)

I currently own a Reo m109 shop/van,hotchkiss jeep,Armstrong MT500 and a m105 trailer

Oh and those who already know me will say I have a serious fetish/problem supporting Avro Vulcan Bomber XH558
