I am considering purchasing the GNR Shorland, from a museum display, that was discussed in some forums about 3 years ago. An ad for it is on Milweb again, and is in the U.K.. I want to bring it to the U.S. and return it to its GNR livery. I would also like to get the correct smoke dischargers, blue light, and return the interior to a close to original as possible. It currently runs, and has radios / intercom in it. Any advice or warnings you could give me before I make an offer, and fly there to see it ??
Note: I am currently restoring a 1956 Volvo TP21 Sugga that is original, with correct radios and military bicycle. #277 out of 720. It is in the reassembly stage right now.
