  1. Hi, I am starting to make my own wiring loom for my ex army austin gipsy. The original loom had waterproof connectors same as Champ, I think. Does anyone know if and where you can get these? Regards
  2. Hi, This is my first post on the HMVF forum and am hoping someone can help. I am currently restoring one of only twenty Austin Gipsies (from 1966) that actually did military service. The army Gipsies had a slightly different specification to their civilian counterparts which included a changed electrical system with waterproof connectors. I have very little of the original wiring loom left and there are no wiring diagrams available. It is not too dissimilar to the standard Gipsy apart from the centre console ignition/lighting switch (see attached). I thought this setup may be similar to other British military vehicles from that period? I have restored a standard Gipsy before but had wiring diagrams available so relatively straightforward. If anyone can help with the wiring it would be much appreciated. Regards, William
