Hello All
My names Ray from ilkeston Derbyshire.
I own a 1962 series 2a 109 1 ton.
it was originally owned by the Merchant Navy training school in North Wales and was a civilian model.
In 2016 it was re built on a military 1 tone chassis and fitted with all military lamps etc.I am quite open and honest to this being known as I don’t want to pull the wool over anyones eyes. And at shows the military people have been quite happy with this.
The photo added was at this years Cromford Steam Rally. At this moment in time I am looking to buy a military truck from the 50s.
Hope to enjoy the forum and making new friends.
Thanks
Ray

Hi.
Found out it is not military.
1941 Brockhouse trailer. Ordered by GPO Engineering 1941. Stayed in service in Glasgow until 1988. How it found it’s way to the midlands is anyone’s guess.
I know it was owned by a person who lived in Tamworth but sadly passed away.
Thanks
